Marketing and Promotion
Lo: To explore the marketing methods in NTTD.
The delayed release meant that advertisements and products in the film weren't up to date and irrelevant, some scenes had to be re-shot and re-edited with more update technologies such as the Nokia cellphone. Also the distribution company had to spend a lot more for this, to keep their modernised movie on the market; increasing the overall cost of the film. Furthermore, the initial marketing strategies had to be scrapped, and were therefor useless, wasting time, money and effort.

Regulation:
Film and video releases in Britain are amongst the most tightly regulated in the Western world.
Age restrictions on films are placed commercially by the BBFC.
1)NTTD has an age rated of 12A
2)The 12a rating is given because the intensity of threat and violence doesn't 'dwell on detail' and only minor blood relation are focused on. Towards the end, NTTD includes some strong language, which compelled BBFC to give it a 12a and not PG.
3)The digital rating is 12.
A 12 allows a child aged 12+ to watch it alone however a 12a discourages this and due to restrictions and exploitatives within the film, they have to watch it with a parent or guardian.

Along with this, Bauer radio dedicate an entire radio station to previous bond music prior to it's release. Both of these elements helped reach big Bond fans- enticing them to watch the new movie.
4c) Give more information on and detail on Uses & Gratification; details on how it appeals on the audience/ more structure. Describe the character profiles, podcasts, social media links and forums to link back to ideas such as personal identity and the audiences.
The Archers uses Uses and Gratifications theory to encourage their audiences to view the website. For example, their website displays certain forums, charities and profiles that will personally resonate with certain members of the audience. Such as the dark yet realistic storylines, rural setting and character personality; audiences could relate to these characters/storylines.
